Florist Angela MacDonald from Joy Floral Design and Artist Krystee-Iris are passionate about supporting individuals in their creative process. They have put the best of their fields together to bring you a ‘Bud + Brush Workshop’. An afternoon where you can create with friends and dive deep into your creativity. Angela will guide you through a Dried floral workshop and Krystee will teach you about all things Watercolour, all in a luscious Dried Botanical theme. A 3 hour workshop creating together will leave you with a contemporary style bud vase arrangement + Watercolour Painting of your own to take home.

Joy Floral Design Workshop:
This guided dried floral workshop will introduce you to a number of design principles that you will then apply to construct your own contemporary style bud vase arrangement. The bud vases have been custom made by Wellington potter Nicola Shuttleworth and are yours to take home at the end of the workshop to display in your home with your artistic design.
Krystee- Iris Watercolour Workshop:
During this Watercolour Workshop we will be exploring Watercolour in a fun and friendly environment. Krystee will cover colour mixing, brush control, watercolour techniques and some tips and tricks along the way. After some exploration of the media you will finish the workshop with a A4 finished Watercolour painting to take home! All done in the theme of ‘Dried Botanicals’.

Meet Krystee-Iris
Krystee Iris is an artist living and working from her home studio in Wellington, NZ. Mother to three young boys Louis, Lachlan and Lennox her days are kept full! Art gives her a balance, rhythm and brings beauty into her everyday life. This beauty is seen in her love for colour, botanicals and fluid mediums such as Watercolour. The loose style of watercolours has given Krystee the versatility to be expressive and explore all that the medium has to offer in contemporary ways. When not creating, Krystee is also found teaching watercolour courses and workshops around New Zealand. Krystee’s love for teaching is seen in her workshops that are designed for all skill levels to come and create together in a relaxed and fun environment.
